Mosaic Resale and Resource Center is OCCDA's flagship social enterprise and connection point through job creation, education, the arts & leadership development to assist Berrien County residents in reaching their greatest potential. There are two distinct arms of Mosaic: the resale store and resource center.
Mosaic Resale Store
The resale store offers a full-retail shopping experience, at the same time it provides volunteer connection, retail training and job experience. For our neighbors in need, Mosaic serves as a vital connection for affordable necessities such as clothes and furniture. For frugal fashionistas and trendy bargain hunters, Mosaic offers treasures in home couture, toy, book, jewelry and vintage finds. Our environment is comfortable, clean and fashion-forward. All donations, (money & in-kind) are distributed at the local level and remain within Benton Harbor/St. Joseph. All proceeds go back to the OCCDA, Overflow Church & the programs of Mosaic.
Mosaic focuses on two key needs in our community, jobs & education. We believe that when relationships combine with developmental opportunities, we will see circles of influence expanded and cycles of poverty broken. We have four values that inform and guide everything we do.

Mosaic Resource Center
Mosaic's Resource Center provides multi-faceted community development using the arts, athletics, literacy activities & entrepreneurship as a way to engage adults and youth.
Areas of interest include:
- vocational training and retail job skills
- job creation
- developmental classes and training in the arts
- preschool creativity
- leadership development

Mosaic's programs, store prep and operations are 90% run by volunteers. This is a great way to connect with others who care about our community. We have volunteer opportunities in the areas of: Sort & Prep team, Collection Team, & Prayer Team.
